This Privacy Policy explains how Memori Solutions (SSM No. CA0414932-T) (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use hairclinics.com.my (the “Website”). We follow the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia, as amended (the “PDPA”).
By using the Website or submitting your details, you confirm that you have read this policy. Where we ask for your consent (for example on the assessment form), we rely on that consent.
1. Who we are

We are a directory and information service. We are not a clinic or healthcare provider.
2. What personal data we collect

Health-related information. Your answers about hair loss and treatment may count as sensitive personal data under the PDPA. We only collect it with your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the form. You can choose not to answer any question, although the assessment may then be less useful.
We do not intentionally collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the assessment form.

We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share your data with
Partner clinics. We pass your details to a clinic only if you ticked the box agreeing to be contacted by partner clinics. We share only what the clinic needs to contact you and understand your request (for example your name, phone number, location, assessment answers and budget band). Up to [NUMBER, e.g. 2] clinics may contact you. If you do not tick the box, we do not send your details to any clinic.
Affiliate partners. When you click a link to a product on an online store, you leave our Website and the store’s own privacy policy applies. We do not give affiliate partners your assessment answers or contact details. They may recognise that you came from us, through a tracking link.
Authorities and advisers. We may disclose data where the law requires it, or to our lawyers, accountants or insurers where necessary.
5. Transfers outside Malaysia
Some of our providers store or process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal data outside Malaysia, we do so in line with the PDPA, which includes making sure the recipient offers protection comparable to Malaysia’s or that another lawful basis applies.
6. Cookies and similar tools
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the Website work and understand how it is used.

You can reject non-essential cookies through through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Website works.
7. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as access controls, password protection, two-factor authentication on key accounts, and limiting who can see lead data. No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs that the law requires us to report, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and affected individuals within the required time frames.
8. Your rights
You may:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and request a copy;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or out of date;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before you withdrew);
- ask us to stop using your data for marketing;
- ask us to limit or stop processing, or to delete your data, where the law allows; and
- in the cases the PDPA provides for, ask us to transfer your data to another organisation.
To use any of these rights, email info@hairclinics.my with your name and the phone number or email you used on the Website, so that we can find your record. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will respond within the time the PDPA allows, which is generally 21 days for access requests. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests where the law permits.
If you withdraw consent to sharing with clinics after we have already passed your details on, we will tell the clinic to stop contacting you, but we cannot control data the clinic already holds. Please also contact the clinic directly.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, contact us first at info@hairclinics.my. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi).
10. Links to other websites
The Website links to clinic websites, online stores, social media and other third parties. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a material change, we will tell you on the Website and, where we have your contact details and consent, directly.
