How centres differ from clinics
- Staff are not necessarily doctors.

- If a centre says it treats a condition, ask for details in writing.
Questions to ask before you pay
- What exactly will you do, and who will do it?
- What results are realistic, and how will we measure them?
- Is a package required, and what is the refund policy? Get it in writing.
- Will you tell me if I should see a doctor instead?
Be careful with large prepaid packages, and with any centre that promises guaranteed regrowth.
When to see a doctor instead
See a doctor if your hair loss is sudden or patchy, or your scalp is itchy, painful or flaky. A centre can’t tell you what is causing it. You can browse dermatology clinics or take our free assessment.
